Frog it?

[frog.jpg]Ok, I have to ask.  I'm sure I read it before, but have forgotten.  Being so new to knitting, I am unfamiliar with many of the terms.  What does it mean again, when someone frogs their work?  I believe it's when they rip it out and start all over again, but not sure what the letters stand for in frog?

  1. It's not the letters that mean anything. . . . when you unravel something you "RIP IT, RIP IT" :) So frogging comes from sounding like ribbit ;)

  3. Ha ha I was leaving you a comment telling you that I was your scavenger hunt spoiler so you would know who left you the anonymous comment, and I TOTALLY forgot to leave it as anonymous. LOL!! :) But it's ok now, cause I deleted it. ;)

  4. Thanks for all the replies! Now I get it, that's a cute joke.

My week's been going very well, thank you! Today the kids had a snow day, so we had a lot of fun trying out our new juiceman machine. I was saving it for a day like this. We put all sorts of organic fruit in there and the kids loved watching it come out as juice. It made a very smooth apple juice. And I'm on lline 35 on my new dishcloth pattern - I can't believe there are 64 lines in a dishcloth! Halfway done though, whoo hoo!
